Welcome to the 2018 Kyneton Football Netball Season. It is going to be a big year. We started off with a draw in Round 1 for our Senior footballers against South Bendigo, but followed up with a convincing Round 2 win over Kangaroo Flat at the weekend.

Next Saturday April 28th is going to be the biggest test, a night match against the reigning premiers Strathfieldsaye starting at 530 pm.

In fact its going to be a blockbuster of a day, starting with the Senior Women’s football match against Strathfieldsaye, followed by the Under 18’s and Reserves. Netball action will also be played at special later times as follows:

The Mollison St Gate will be open for foot traffic only, all other traffic will enter from the Beauchamp St entrance.

Bar and canteen will be open, including roast beef rolls!

There will be a Karaoke and cocktails night following the games at the Clubrooms.

The Kyneton Football Netball Club will again participate in the annual ANZAC day parade down Mollison St to the Shrine. Players and supporters are welcome to gather at the Showgrounds at 9am on Wed morning.

Finally, we will be celebrating the Club’s 150th Anniversary throughout the year at several functions. Our Anniversary Dinner will be held on May 26th at the Kyneton Town Hall.

Our Juniors have started their 2018 campaign again winning the Kyneton Toyota Cup after a day of practice matches against Castlemaine. Round 1 kicked off at the weekend with taking with some great games played at the Showgrounds and in Bendigo.
